A Partnership for Holistic Healing

AIC Kanzinwa Child Development Centre, in partnership with Medical Missions Africa (MEMA), successfully organized a transformative two-day medical outreach event at AIC Kanzinwa Church premises from August 13-14, 2025. This remarkable initiative brought together medical expertise and spiritual ministry to serve our community with comprehensive care.

Medical Missions Africa (MEMA) is a Christian organization that uses medicine as a tool for evangelism, perfectly aligning with our mission to promote holistic well-being among sponsored children, youth, caregivers, and community members through free medical services alongside spiritual ministry.

Day One: Caring for Our Program Participants (August 13, 2025)

Voices from the Community: Testimonials

A Child’s Healing Journey

“Before the medical camp, I had frequent stomach pain, and my mother was worried. At the screening, I was checked by the doctor and given medicine that helped me feel much better. I also learned about washing hands and eating well. I was also reminded about Jesus being the healer, and I felt happy to know that He cares about me. Thank you, MEMA and AIC, for coming to help us.”

— 11-year-old child, CDC Participant

Hope for an Elder

“I have been struggling with high blood pressure for many years, but I could not afford regular checkups or proper medication. When I heard about the free medical camp at AIC Kanzinwa Church, I decided to come. The doctors welcomed me warmly, checked my blood pressure, and gave me medicine. They also explained how to manage it through food and exercise. Most importantly, I heard the Word of God and was reminded that even in old age, Jesus still cares for me. I went home with peace in my heart and hope for better health. I am truly grateful.”

— Mr. Musili, 68 years old, Kango Village

A Partnership with Lasting Impact

The importance of good health cannot be overstated—it is the foundation for a thriving child, a productive adult, and a resilient community. Through the ongoing partnership between MEMA and AIC Kanzinwa CDC, physical healing is being matched with spiritual nourishment, creating lasting change in the lives of many.

Looking Forward

This partnership is more than an event—it is a long-term investment in the well-being and transformation of an entire community.

The two-day medical camp was a resounding success, reaching 627 individuals (310 on Day One and 317 on Day Two). Beyond medical interventions, it provided critical health education and pointed many toward spiritual healing in Jesus Christ.

This partnership between AIC Kanzinwa CDC and Medical Missions Africa demonstrated the power of integrated outreach—addressing both physical health needs and eternal hope in Christ. The event has strengthened community trust and opened doors for continued health and spiritual impact.
